About
What We Believe:
We believe that the Old & New Testaments of the Bible are God's Holy Word which provides practical guidance, wisdom and insight for everyday life.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that God created man and woman in His own image; that they disobeyed God and consequently immediately experienced spiritual death which is separation from God. Physical death followed later. All members of the human race are sinners by nature and practice.
We believe in the virgin birth, the sinless perfection, the physical crucifixion, the personal and bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven of Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice and that all who sincerely call on His Name for forgiveness shall be saved from eternal punishment.
We believe in the personal, bodily, imminent Second Coming of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost. Further we believe in the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
We believe that the Church is a group of born-again Christians placed into one body; The Body of Christ whose mission is to witness concerning its Head, Jesus Christ; preaching The Gospel among all nations.
We believe that every genuine believer in Christ is indwelt by the Holy Spirit Who reveals precepts of Holy Scripture and transforms us into Christlikeness.
We believe in the sacred ordinance of baptism by immersion as a genuine believer's identification with and first act of obedience to Jesus Christ as Savior.
We believe in the sacred ordinance of Holy Communion reminding us of the cost of our salvation accomplished through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Salvation is possible only through personal faith in Jesus Christ offered by His grace and mercy alone . . . not by good works.
